EGG HARBOR, NJ - CARDIFF DONATION
Donations made November 2012

All Hands Working worked with the Volunteers and Chief officers of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company to raise funds in order to purchase a Cybex Bravo for the firehouse. Volunteers and All Hands Working staff worked closely together to hold boot drives, and hold a fundraising event at Chickies and Pete's of Egg Harbor Township. The funds raised enabled All Hands Working to make our first donation of equipment and gym flooring. The best part of working with this fire department was getting to know the members of the station and learning on the job how to execute our first donation.

All Hands Working has checked back in from time to time with Chief Rob Winkler and found out that not only have the members been using the equipment, but the members of the ladies auxiliary has added to the equipment to enlarge the gym. Chief Winkler has told us that since the gym has been installed members are not only working out, but spending more time in the firehouse. This is a tremendous success in our eyes and we appreciate the support this department continues to offer All Hands Working.

HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF
Through All hands Working, Postnet, and our local union

All Hands Working teamed up with IAFF Local 3249 and local businesses to provide much needed supplies to the families of firefighters that were still suffering catastrophic effects of Superstorm Sandy. All Hands Working placed a drop box location within Postnet of Sicklerville and soon had an overwhelming amount of supplies to deliver to the drop off point located at the Voorhees Township Fire Department station 663 on Cooper Road. Donations were received from areas from as far as Western Pennsylvania. All Hands Working purchased items such as paper towels, toiletries, and other essentials that were not provided in the form of donations.

All Hands Working provided individual firefighters that requested help with gift cards, specific sized clothing, baby needs, and other items that were not on donation lists. The goal was to help our brother and sister firefighters get back on their feet as soon as possible. The support from the local community was truly overwhelming!
LEARY FOUNDATION HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF
March 16, 2013

On March 16th, 2013 All Hands Working held a Winter Classic hockey event. The purpose of this event was to raise funds\ for the procurement of fitness equipment and survival training for local fire departments. Due to the suffering that NJ/NY was still dealing with from the effects of Superstorm Sandy the All Hands Working Board decided to donate the proceeds from the event to the Leary Firefighters Foundation Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.

WEST CHESTER FIRE DEPARTMENT

All Hands Working is currently working with the West Chester Fire Department to provide much needed workout equipment and training. The Goodwill Fire Company has suffered some great losses over the past year including the line of duty death of Captain Chris "Goody" Good. After meeting with the members of the West Chester Fire Department and Jess Good (Captain Good's Widow) we decided to name our Health and Fitness Grant after Captain Good. As a growing charity we found great parallels with this fire department and wanted to do something special to honor the progressive nature of their efforts. The West Chester Fire Department had started a Health and Wellness Committee prior to requesting assistance and we found strives they had made in a positive direction to be motivating.

On July 13th we held a community block party with this department to start the fundraising efforts to allow All Hands Working to fund the grant. We are continuing our fundraising efforts and plans are in place to fund this grant in 2014.
