All Hands Working worked with the Volunteers and Chief officers of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company to raise funds in order to purchase a Cybex Bravo for the firehouse. Volunteers and All Hands Working staff worked closely together to hold boot drives, and hold a fundraising event at Chickies and Pete’s of Egg Harbor Township. The funds raised enabled All Hands Working to make our first donation of equipment and gym flooring. The best part of working with this fire department was getting to know the members of the station and learning on the job how to execute our first donation.All Hands Working has checked back in from time to time with Chief Rob Winkler and found out that not only have the members been using the equipment, but the members of the ladies auxiliary has added to the equipment to enlarge the gym. Chief Winkler has told us that since the gym has been installed members are not only working out, but spending more time in the firehouse. This is a tremendous success in our eyes and we appreciate the support this department continues to offer All Hands Working.
